Kay Carbaugh

INTERIM DIRECTOR
Kay is a proud Crozet Avenue parent, a member of Crozet UMC, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a School Social Worker with over 17 years experience in Virginia’s public schools. Her work involves creating spaces for socio-emotional development and “whole child” learning.
Kay brings a deep commitment to children and a strong, steady presence to support our teachers and families during our current transition. The Board has begun a thoughtful search for a permanent Director and will keep families informed as that process moves forward.
Debbie Green

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Debbie loves working with young children and has worked in Early Childhood Education for over twenty-five years. As a past director and administrator for Albemarle County Extended Day Enrichment Programs, she finds the field of Early Childhood Education very rewarding. Debbie loves teaching children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new.
Debbie has been our Assistant Director and one of our Pre-K teachers since day one! In her free time, Debbie loves spending time with family and friends, decorating, shopping and the beach.
